Got 9 Minutes? Cool. Let's Workout.
Life gets busy, but you always have time to work out. This 9 minute strength workout has been kicking our butts, especially post-baby. (Download the worksheet here.) Plyometrics get the heart rate going and the muscle groups working. Best of all, you don't need any equipment. We've completed it twice this week and already feel the impact. The dog has even taken to relaxing on the yoga mat in between reps, while our coach, (the baby), cheers us on from the BabyBjörn Bouncer. Full disclosure, we do the workout at our pace and take ample rest breaks in between. So, instead of 9 minutes it takes about 20-25 minutes, especially if we add an extra set here and there. As we build up our stamina, we are fairly certain we can complete the reps in 9 minutes. We found the "Burpee with Push Up" and the "Leg Raises" to be particularly challenging leading us to question how we were ever college athletes. We liked the squats so much that we have taken to doing reps while we brush our teeth. Talk to your doctor before you start any work-out, listen to your body and hydrate. We swear by our S'well bottles which keep our water chilled throughout the day. This Keds x S'well limited edition bottle is particularly fabulous for many reasons. Happy workout.
