Wagamama takes Flatiron by Storm
Be still our beating hearts, (or rather stomachs). We used to strategically spend our student meal budget at Wagamama in Covent Garden in London. When we moved back to the US, we missed it. On trips to Europe, in between eating the local fare, we would pop-in for a quick meal. And then, one of our nearest and dearest texted us a pic of the Wagamama that opened in Nomad/Flatiron - hurrah! Finally! We've been there not once, but twice in the last 2 weeks. We've graduated from our university staple of chicken katsu curry and have devoured the chicken raisukaree. We also indulged in the banana katsu (heaven!!!!!). Run don't walk. The location is huge, spread out over two levels, and the table service is relatively fast. The managers are also incredible about any dietary restrictions and food allergies which is a must for any restaurant today. We think we might be going so frequently that the staff might start to recognize us...
