And, while we haven't seen him perform in person, we've heard from friends that he is on another level, literally. Steve Aoki: I'll Sleep When I'm Dead offers a look behind the superstar DJ and what drives him. Examining the complicated relationship Aoki had with his father, the Netflix documentary is eye-opening. Aoki is charming, hard-charging, smart, a little wild and has an enviable work ethic. We kind of want to be a DJ. If only to be able to crowd surf on an inflatable raft while a soundtrack of our creation blasts in the background...
