Bonjour Cherry Blossoms!
It's the peak Cherry Blossom viewing season in Washington D.C. We've been admiring pics snapped by friends who are lucky enough to see them in real life and have been streaming the National Park's Service Cherry Blossom Cam. National Geographic just released these stunning historical photographs of the blossoms - they remain a stunning testament to the friendship between the Japanese and the Americans. And by the way, the idea for the blossoms to be planted in D.C. came from and was implemented by women. #FlowerPower
