That Dress Though...Parlay like a Millennial

That Dress Though...Parlay like a Millennial

We started noticing it last year. People on Instagram and some blogs adding the word "though" to the end of sentences where it didn't make any grammatical sense. The English major, lawyer and journalist on our team laughed nervously and chanted, "I can't even," unsettled by the Millennial gibberish that we didn't comprehend, despite being Millennials ourselves. But, then we consulted the exalted urban dictionary and realized this is a thing. We reviewed a caption to a stylish Instagram snap: "That dress though..." Though what?! Well, in this case it is used to "bring attention to an object". We don't think the Queen of England will be using this anytime soon, but we've embraced it (except in office settings!). It's like so fire (hot). Right though? For all the grammar police we are sorry not sorry. If you want to correct us go ahead, but first let us take a selfie. xoxoxxoxoxoxoxoxooxoxo
