Morning Smoothie for a Post-Holiday Detox
A few years ago we were asked if we do any cleanses - meaning juice cleanses. Hats off to the guys and gals that go down this route. We would not be happy if all we ingested was juice, even for one day. We have, however, been huge fans of smoothies and juice drinks in combination with our regular meals. Juice Generation's Hail To Kale® and Get Ur Green On® are two favorites for post-workout hydration.
After devouring a deluge of holiday treats, it feels good to have a smoothie accompany our morning breakfast as we start off the new year. Who doesn't want an extra burst of antioxidants in the morning during cold and flu season? This drink, combined with our morning eggs or bagel, helps prep us to tackle the day.
