Positive Thinking - #Breathe
Sometimes when life throws us curve balls, we like to turn to positive thinking. Here are some of our favorite life mantras.
Don't think just do. (This is especially useful when you find yourself over-thinking.)
Stop trying to fit in. (We repeat this when thinking about life, social groups and our careers!)
When difficult things happen in your life, use them as guideposts that you learn from, hang your worries on them and move forward. You can remember these experiences and see them in your past, but you don't have to be defined by them.
Keep your interests and hobbies alive by doing a little of everything at once. You are a mosaic and are not defined by one role, job, emotion or situation.
When you are having a disagreement or getting worked up, ask your yourself, will this matter one year from now? (A little perspective can go a long way.)
Whatever saying you choose to make yourself calm down, we also recommend lacing up your sneakers and going for a stroll. Fresh air and nature do wonders for stress management.
